Elastomers

Elastomers

Elastomers are rubber-like materials with high elasticity and flexibility. They are commonly used in the production of various rubber products, including tires, seals, gaskets, conveyor belts, and shock absorbers. Elastomers are also essential components in the automotive, aerospace, and industrial manufacturing sectors.
Polyolefin Elastomers and Plastomers (POE / POP)
POE and POP are specialized polyolefin materials designed to exhibit elastomeric or plastomeric properties. They are commonly used as impact modifiers and flexibilizers in various polymer blends. Applications include packaging films, automotive components, and wire and cable insulation.
Emulsion & Solution styrene butadiene rubber (SBR)
Emulsion SBR and Solution SBR are two common types of synthetic rubber. Emulsion SBR is produced by emulsion polymerization, while Solution SBR is produced by solution polymerization. Both types find applications in tire manufacturing, conveyor belts, footwear, adhesives, and various rubber-molded goods.
Polybutadiene Rubber (PBR)
Polybutadiene rubber is a synthetic rubber with high resilience and excellent abrasion resistance. It is commonly used in the production of tires, conveyor belts, shoe soles, and various molded rubber products.
Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR)
EPR is a synthetic rubber known for its excellent weather resistance, electrical insulating properties, and thermal stability. It is commonly used in the production of electrical insulation, automotive seals, gaskets, roofing materials, and industrial hoses.
Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM)
EPDM is a synthetic rubber with excellent weather resistance, ozone resistance, and thermal stability. It is commonly used in automotive seals, gaskets, roofing membranes, weatherstripping, and as an insulation material in various applications.
Isobutylene Isoprene Rubber (IIR)
IIR, commonly known as butyl rubber, is a synthetic rubber with excellent chemical resistance, low gas permeability, and thermal stability. It is widely used in the production of inner tubes for tires, pharmaceutical stoppers, seals, and various applications requiring airtight seals.
Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR)
NBR is a synthetic rubber with excellent oil and fuel resistance, making it suitable for various applications where resistance to petroleum-based fluids is crucial. Common uses include gaskets, seals, O-rings, hoses, automotive components, and gloves.
